Autoclavable suction jar 400 mL to 4 L – full range

Features

• Polycarbonate jar (121 °C) or polysulfone jar (134 °C).
• Screw or press-fit lid (press-fit only for 2 L and 4 L).
• Smooth spigots for soft tubing built into the lid.
• EPDM seals and ball-type overflow valve.
• Standard hanging tab built into the jar: no basket needed.

Use

Place the jar on a suitable holder. Connect the vacuum source to the spigot marked VACUUM and the suction catheter to the spigot marked PATIENT. Check that the system is working (suction on, valve in place). If the aspirated volume becomes too large, the valve shuts off suction to prevent overflow.

Care

After use, empty and clean the jar, then autoclave it according to the facility's procedure. Do not use solvents or abrasive detergents. Do not use a jar showing cracks visible through the wall.
